This project is a filthy abomination of boolean cuts and adds in 3d builder. That being said, it works really good – with some TLC and a dremel possibly. Stay away from this thing if you don't like a challenge. Features: • BMG extruder housing • 40 mm fan! • Option for using angled fan • Mk3 style fan shroud Things you will need: • All sorts of hardware like gears and springs and stuff. I suggest buying them directly from https://www.bondtech.se/en/ • X-ends with a 16T pulley in order for this special x carriage to work. I suggest you try the ones by vekoj here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2957916 • Sidecutters, for cutting off the extruder connector bits which makes it impossible to reverse the connector (and direction). • 40 mm fan, if you don't have it already. • A festo! (pneumatic push fitting with m10 thread, for you sticklers) Things you might need or want: • Square m3 nuts • All kinds of m3 bolts • Pancake stepper is an option now! Make sure to get one rated for at least 18 Ncm. The top m3 bolt needs to be longer than reality I think. I fixed it by printing in ABS, drilling and welding it together with acetone. PERMANENTLY! Please let me know if you find a bolt long enough. PLEASE!!
