I wanted a sturdy back panel, so I opted to create clamps using the 4mm wood I already had on hand to keep my multiplex wood securely in place. By design, these clamps are engineered to hold a 4mm thick piece of wood with standard 10mm hex bolts. If you need to accommodate thicker wood, simply swap out the bolts for larger ones.
