Original Prusa i3 MK2 Nozzle holder and tool Box
myminifactory
This is a nozzle holder for a complete set of E3D nozzles as well as standard tools that come with your Original Prusa i3 MK2. Extra room has been added for a few extra items. It's designed to sit atop the PSU on the right side of the Prusa 13 mk2, giving enough clearance for the z-axis to pass to full height. (Check out the pics) Print the box portion upright as shown in the finished model and it won't require any supports. The nozzle portion should be printed with supports and bridge supports active, laying flat as shown in the blue STL file. The nozzles follow the same nomenclature as the E3D kit if you buy the full set from them. Currently, the 0.15 nozzle comes unlabeled, but it will have two dots on a single face to separate it from the 0.25 nozzle, which also doesn't have any marking. So, I used that nomenclature for this nozzle guide. Each label has the appropriate number of dots as the nozzle face. The nozzle holder can be printed independently of the toolbox and still function without any problem. The toolbox holds a screwdriver, five Allen wrenches, a nozzle wrench (Prusa), a T-nozzle wrench (E3D), two box end wrenches, and room for a few more items like scrapers and needle-nose pliers. I included a one-piece file, but I was never able to get it to print well without a ton of supports. So, I split it into two parts, which printed much easier. Print the box portion and the nozzle portion, then glue them together. Don't try printing the one piece - it won't turn out well. Print Settings: Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: I used 0.15 for the model shown. Infill: Use at least 5% infill.
