I wanted to minimize noise from my already extremely quiet Original Prusa i3 MK2, so I focused on the hotend fan as it was making most of the racket. To address this issue, I designed a custom adapter/tunnel for the extruder to accommodate a 40x40mm Noctua fan. This upgrade now allows me to significantly reduce noise levels.
