Greetings all. I followed the guidance manual precisely while conducting FEA tests on the original component, ensuring that it was secured with a machine bolt. Here are the obtained results. It seems puzzling how the bolt holes experienced such high stress levels despite the part being entirely solid. One can only wonder what implications this might have for our own design endeavors. I eagerly await Sara's response from GE regarding proper constraint placement, as something appears to be amiss in this scenario.
