This is a cutting-edge abstract column-shaped work of art crafted from douglas fir, specifically designed for Canary Wharf as part of The Shape of the Century Millennium exhibition and now proudly showcased in the collection. Keith Rand, born in 1956 and passing away in 2013, honed his skills in sculpture at Winchester School of Art. In 1984, he relocated to Scotland, returning to England's southwest region in 1996. With a reputation built on innovative sculpture and sensitively crafted landscape works inspired by the natural world, Rand brought his poetic vision and technical expertise together to breathe life into his sculptural ideas.
