Thank you! History: The "Star of David" logo was first used on the 1914 Dodge Brothers car, and it was last seen on the 1938 Dodge. In 1914, when the emblem was introduced, interlocking triangles (the "Star of David") weren't associated with Judaism in most people's minds. Club writers suggested three possible meanings: 1: A medieval symbol representing mysticism and the joining of mind and body, or in this case, the union of two brothers. 2: An abstraction of the square and compass of the Freemasons. 3: A representation of a Dodge City lawman's badge. Horace Dodge likely enjoyed accompanying local police on their runs, and he might have appreciated the Dodge City reference.
