The Original 3D printer is a machine that prints three-dimensional objects layer by layer from digital files. It works on a principle similar to an inkjet printer, but instead of printing ink onto paper, it lays down layers of melted plastic or metal. The printer reads the design file and moves a print head back and forth across the build platform, depositing material as it goes. This process is repeated until the entire object is complete.
