I designed this because one of my favorite things to do in my spare time at school, is folding paper in to repeating patterns that could then be used to create and freestyle any number of origami tessellations. The problem I always had though, was that the paper would often wear out or tear during a class period and be unusable, and since it takes a good 20 minutes to fold one it wasn't very fulfilling. Printing: For printing, I used PLA, but any other filaments should work too, as long as you have good bed adhesion, for infill, bump up your top and bottom layers so its solid plastic. After printing, DON'T remove the triangles from the bed, the material that I found to work best, as a non wearing out, flexible surface to put them on, is just white bed sheet fabric, but really this is experimental, so feel free to try it on your own materials. Cut the piece of fabric so its a little bit larger than all the triangles, and then spay it with spray adhesive, and push it down on the triangles. Then put something heavy on it and let it dry for about half an hour.
