This item is designed to enable a SportIdent (Si) <b>“Plastic Holder for BSF7 Station”</b> or a <b>“Plastic Holder for BSF9 & 8 Station (Standard)”</b> control box mounting plate to be mounted onto a standard 10mm x 8mm oval fibreglass electric fence post, suitably cut to length. This item has been designed to enable the cheaper fibreglass electric fence posts to be used as orienteering control posts. This item is to be firmly affixed to the top of the 10mm x 8mm fibreglass electric fence post, which will need to be cut to a suitable length. The SportIdent (Si) <b>“Plastic Holder for BSF7 Station”</b> and <b>“Plastic Holder for BSF9 & 8 Station (Standard)”</b> control box mounting plates have holes provided for M4 screws at a pitch of 20mm, with stainless steel fasteners being recommended to minimise the risk of corrosion. Two button head screws, M4 x 20mm long, should be used, together with standard (Form A) washers and M4 Nyloc nuts, to secure the SportIdent mounting plate to this item.
