Oriental Lamp / Light box
thingiverse
Hey folks! I worked on creating an oriental lamp. This lamp consists of two parts: 1. The lamp (outer layer). 2. The inner layer. How I designed: I designed this in solvespace, a CAD software. Unfortunately the design got too small, you might need to scale it. If you are interested, I can share my file with you. Just message me. How I printed: I have an Ender 3. I used a wooden color for the outer layer, and white for the inner layer. For the outer layer you need support with overhang angle 50. I scaled the sizes to 150%, the outer layer needs to be little smaller. For me 148% was perfect. I also posted my Cura settings in screenshots. The candles: You can use any LED candle you find on amazon. Just search for it. If you want to support my work, you can use my affiliate link, this is what I used: https://www.amazon.de/Kerzen-eLander-Lichter-flammenlose-Automatikmodus/dp/B01DVXDPRW?tag=milchtuetenente-21 Please do not use real candles. Little story about this design: The geometry is inspired by oriental design, the star in the middle of the lamp is the Seljuk star. The eight corners stand for mercy, compassion, patience, keeping secret, generosity, loyalty, gratitude, rightfulness.
