Oric 1 Atmos Raspberry PI zero case
thingiverse
Today I wanted to make something truly special for my dad, a day that would be remembered forever. He got the Oric II in the 80's and it's still his prized possession - a testament to its durability. It was also the very first computer I ever owned, sparking a lifelong passion within me. After scouring the internet, I managed to track down an Oric 1 model that perfectly matched my dad's retro charm. I loaded the design into ThinkerCad and paired it with a sleek Raspberry Pi zero model for its compact size. The result was a seamless integration that exceeded all expectations. To give it a authentic look, I carefully painted the model in the original colors, meticulously capturing every detail. Next, I printed out the logo label and applied it with precision using a small amount of glue. But the pièce de résistance was yet to come - adding Retropie, installing the Oric emulator, and loading up the classic roms that brought back memories of my dad's gaming days. The look on my dad's face when he saw the finished product was absolutely priceless - a mix of surprise and delight. His mom was equally impressed, beaming with pride at their child's creativity.
