This desk organizer is designed to stand out apart from other desk organizers while also being more useful. The problem that I kept seeing with desk organizers is that most of them look the same. The one I designed is meant to look more unique, but still keeping the same uses and purposes as "normal" organizers. I had a little difficulty creating the arc that goes around the curved edge on the part, I'm still learning the inventor program so it took me a bit to do it. I don't think I'd change anything if I were to design the organizer again. I spent a lot of time on it and I think It's great. I think 3D printing my design helps strengthen my design because it becomes much more accessible to people. During times like these people may not feel comfortable going out and buying an organizer, but with 3D printing, they can make one at home.
