We often toss our spools of filaments, they can have a valuable function, an example here by transforming them into an organizer or storage in a spool. WARNING!!! According to the manufacturers, a few measurements must be taken before printing anything so that everything fits perfectly. My reel model comes from "3D Wholesaler" in France. The design of the elements to be printed is made from a spool weighing one Kg, 200 mm in outside diameter, the hub or internal diameter is 89.30 mm. See the dimensions of the reel in plan above. It's not necessary to print the compartments or small boxes in each module, but if you have small screws or nuts to put inside them, I find it easier to extract them independently, it's up to you. The two small 5 mm axes are just right, a drill and a 5 mm drill bit is required, place the modules, drill and cross the entire thickness of the coil, the modules will serve as a guide, when the axes are in place with the modules, cut and slightly heat the end of the pins to crimp the assembly.
