Organic Geometric Model
thingiverse
Hi there! This is a basic model I designed to demonstrate that stringing happens when certain conditions are met. Surprisingly, only minor stringing occurred in my prints, considering I've been using the same PLA filament for over two weeks now. Check out the print settings below\nTake a look at the attached Cura profile if you're using a Monoprice Maker Select 3D printer V2 and printing with regular PLA. These settings deliver pretty good results.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: Prusa\nPrinter: Prusa Mk2\nRafts: Yes\nSupports: Yes\nInfill: 20%\nNotes: Only enable supports that make contact with the build plate. If you add full supports, the print will fail badly (I know from experience.)\nBe extremely cautious when removing supports as some spikes may come loose with it.\nExtruder temp: 205°-210°C\nIf your printer has a heated bed, set mine to 60°C, which helped keep the model stable at higher speeds.
