Organic Fan Guard 40mm

I designed this custom enclosure specifically for my 40mm hotend cooling fan, matching the exact dimensions of a standard delta 40x40x20 configuration. The previous one I had was allowing drafts across my heated bed, causing parts to warp and distort during printing. To address this issue, I incorporated a feature that forces air to flow straight into the enclosure, eliminating the possibility of it blowing out at the outer edge of the fan. This design also ensures there's nothing near the fan blade to create extra noise or disrupt airflow in any way. This custom enclosure is compatible with my 80mm Organic Fan Guard (accessible via this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3162175), which I've found to be an excellent solution for maintaining optimal airflow while minimizing noise levels. To demonstrate the print quality achievable without supports, I've included a screenshot of how these enclosures turned out when printed using this design. If you need a thicker honeycomb mesh, simply adjust the "Horizontal Expansion" setting to 0.3-0.5 mm or slightly more, depending on your preferences.
