I printed out someones clock b4 i made this. it worked but i didn't feel the need to have a 4th (tens of hours) digit predominently displaying 0 or 1 only. So looking at commerical clocks they only have a 1 for 10-12 and a light for pm. so went about designing my own as i couldn't find anything. I wanted to make this more modular so if you want to use this to make a temperature display with 2-3 digits its possible There are stencils availible for the 65% version of the clock. i used ws2812 leds as pictured to make the smallest clock possible without designing a pcb. I used this to line up the leds so then i could subject myself to hours of soldering as ws2812 leds are valuable? right? I haven't printed out a 100% version so if you do do some tests so they fit right. the 150% version is a good size to have the leds being quite bright at night. i'm scared of the dark! So to make a 3.5 digit display like i did you'll need: 1st digit (one) 3 digits 1 colon 20 diffuser (normal) {6x diffuser x3 digits + 2x 1st digit} 3 middle diffuser 2 colon diffuser 25 ws2812 led strip 16mm 60 per meter i think an arduino i used a pro mini a realtime clock i used a ds3231 my code is very simple so i won't include. you need to set the rtc time before using code to display time which can be a hassle. Alternatively use a esp8266 to get time via ntp time servers
