The original Oreo box was hacked open for a clever DIY project - turning it into a fridge magnet. The files were minimized by 75%, with the cream filling reduced in size using meshmixer to mimic its actual appearance. The top biscuit remained unchanged, but a hole was drilled through the bottom biscuit to accommodate a small earth magnet (20mm diameter). All parts were printed in white PLA and the biscuit pieces were painted dark brown. Using brown filament could have skipped the painting step altogether. The pieces could be glued together using superglue or epoxy for a strong bond. A spare resin was used to fill the middle, and the cookie was slush-casted to add weight and secure everything in place.
