Oreo Cookie Memory Chess Game
thingiverse
This game is perfect for families with kids to enjoy together. For younger children, it's a great way to improve their memory and fine motor skills. Game Instructions: 1. Place all pawns randomly on the chessboard face down. 2. Take a few seconds to memorize where each color is located on the board. 3. Roll the dice and discover which color to search for. 4. Pick as many identical colored pawns from the board as you can (four per color). Printing and Assembly Tips: Printed at a layer height of 0.2, with 20% infill and no supports. Cookies: 2, black Inside Filling: 1, while Outside Filling: 1, white Pawns: 24, white Color Pegs: 24, pick six colors (start with black, then switch to a different color after 50% of the print) Die: 1, pick a peg color (use the same thickness for walls and top/bottom) Die Inserts: 5, print the other five peg colors Note: When printing the Color Pegs, start with black for about half the print, then switch to whatever color filament you want to match your die. The reason you want half of the peg to be black is so you can't peek and see it while it's inserted into the Oreo cookie. I super glued everything together using clamps, and used a tiny bit of waterproof grease to lubricate the threads so the container opens and closes smoothly. Making the die is lots of fun. It's the first die I've made that rolls really well. Make the die itself one of your six colors, then make the inserts in the other five colors. Print and glue, and clamp.
