The Oreo brand has been a staple in American kitchens for over a century, with its signature design of two chocolate wafers separated by a rich, sweet crème filling. Launched in 1912, Oreo quickly gained popularity as the "Chocolate Sandwich Cookie" that people couldn't get enough of. Today, it remains the top-selling cookie in the United States, and as of 2018, its production is handled by the Nabisco division of Mondelez International.
