Oregon Trail Deck Holder

I'm excited to share with you my friend's new game night setup, which includes a customized Oregon Trail wagon I designed and printed for us to use. We've started playing the game regularly at his house, and I was thrilled to contribute to the experience by creating this unique trophy. The wagon is specifically sized to hold the 60ish mm Oregon Trail cards, but it can easily be resized to accommodate a standard deck if needed. I chose to print the wagon with raft and supports using my CTC Replicator printer, which provided excellent results despite a few minor issues. I opted for 10% infill on the body, 20% infill on the wheels, and 100% infill on the axles. While the raft may not be strictly necessary, it did help with the printing process. One potential improvement I noted during the printing process was that my flat layers were slightly saggy, which might have been resolved by increasing the infill percentage to at least 20%. However, the end result is still a fantastic addition to our game night setup. All we need now are some oxen figurines to complete the scene and add an extra layer of realism. To assemble the wagon, I glued the bottom piece to the top bit, taking care to secure the axles in place first. The wheels were then attached to the axles, which spin smoothly within their holes. A bit of sanding and trimming may be necessary to achieve a smooth glue surface or to ensure clean spinning axles. With this new addition, our game nights are sure to become even more engaging and immersive. I'm looking forward to many hours of nostalgic fun with my friends!
