ORD Bot GT2 Idler
thingiverse
A substitute for the standard idlers included in ORD Bot kits. It matches with the same two bearings and serves as a direct replacement. Print it using 2 perimeter layers at 0.30-0.32 mm thickness, with layer thickness of 0.15-0.17. A 50% infill worked well for me. To avoid overheating issues, print two simultaneously if your cooling is insufficient. The reason to replace the original idlers includes their flat lip that causes belt teeth to rub against the edge and leads to belt slippage upwards, causing contact with the Y plate's bottom. This is a GT2 idler; if you need an MXL version, let me know and I'll provide another version.
