First 3D Sculpture Practice - Orco Chibi I'm really excited to start my first 3D sculpture practice project, which is going to be a super fun little guy called Orco Chibi. Orco Chibi's design is inspired by a mix of cute and cool elements, with an adorable face and a body that's just right for holding him in your hand. I'm planning on using clay as my primary material for this project because it will allow me to easily shape and mold the details of Orco Chibi's features. My goal is to create a 3D sculpture that not only looks great but also feels solid and sturdy in your hands. To achieve this, I'll be focusing on building up layers of clay gradually, making sure each layer is smooth and even before adding the next one. This will help me create a strong foundation for my sculpture. One thing to keep in mind when working with clay is that it can shrink or expand depending on the temperature and humidity of your workspace. To minimize this issue, I'll be keeping a close eye on Orco Chibi's size as I work on him and making adjustments accordingly. Now that we have our materials and plan ready, let's get started! In the next step, we'll begin by creating Orco Chibi's base shape using a ball of clay. Then, we can start adding details such as eyes, mouth, and arms to bring our little guy to life. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
