I don't claim 100% anatomical correctness, but I believe the basic shape is quite accurate. Concerning printing and post-processing: So far, I've only printed with ABS because I wanted to smooth it with acetone. The shiny version you can see in the images is the result of this process. I printed with a brim and supports, so after printing, there was considerable work involved to get rid of the support material, and sanding the parts where it touched the model. You have to be extremely careful with the thin parts of the fins.
