Orca v4.x Modified extruder base for feeding Eco Flex PLA
thingiverse
When using Eco Flex PLA, I found it challenging as it wouldn't feed through my Orca extruder due to its flexibility causing it to bend and loop outside the base. To resolve this issue, I diagnosed that additional support was needed on the way down into the hot-end. Thus, I created a modified base that provides extra support after passing the idler. At present, it's being tested on my printer; fingers crossed that it fits and performs as expected! Please don't forget to 'LIKE' before collecting. Thomas (www.3daybreaker.blogspot.com) suggests printing in PLA with 45% infill for smoother results, and considering drilling holes for further refinement.
