Orca Series adjustable Z-Axis endstop

The Orca 0.3 from mendel-parts.com features a tricky, non-adjustable z-endstop connected with a single tie wrap to one pole. Thus, a redesign was necessary to make the z-axis adjustable. The X-axis also required redesigning due to similar issues, which will be done within weeks. Additionally, an extruder light is being designed for dark winter days. Follow this account if you have an Orca 0.3 and wish to improve it. To install the new z-endstop, print the combined part at a layer of 0.22 with a speed of 35mm/s. Connect wires to the lever switch as shown in pictures and wait for printing to finish. Gently insert the switch into the holder, ensuring care with inflexible wires. Insert nuts into the base part using a bolt, then attach the holder, spring, and nuts as illustrated without over-tightening. Attach the base part to the Y-bed and connect wires to the outermost 2 pins of the OPTO-Z-Connector if using Gen6 electronics. Update firmware with a Marlin patch for optos to work, downloadable from http://code.google.com/p/mendel-bed-mapper/downloads/detail?name=Marlin%2Blevelbed.zip&can=2&q=. Finally, calibrate the z-axis and enjoy this advanced technology.
