Orca 030 (+linear bearing mod)
thingiverse
The majority of files are derived from mendel-parts repository, specifically designed for upgrading an Orca v2 to a v3. If you haven't constructed your v2 yet, this modification is beneficial; however, if it's assembled and functioning, refrain from disassembling. The Sketchup file includes all necessary elements. To upgrade, you will require 10 LM8UU linear bearings, 8 mudgard washers (either printed or purchased), and 18 zip-ties (8 for acrylic frame tightening, 10 for bearing attachment). Regarding the Z-axis, replace M4x30 z-bearing-mount screws with shorter M4x16 bolts in v030 assembly manual. For Y-Axis, be mindful of bed-plate and frog hole spacing differences between v2 and v3. In X-Axis, remove 1-2 M4 mudgard washer from each bearing guide to accommodate the belt's lower path. Please note that the Y-axis holes' spacing differs between v2 and v3.
