Orca 0.4x Hotend cooling ring
thingiverse
A cooling ring facilitates temperature reduction for the hot end during printing. The hot end's thermal core should be positioned at a distance of 47.5mm from the case base. Post-printing, removal is necessary due to print material support requirements. Necessary parts include a 30mm fan, four M3-15mm bolts, four M3 washers, and four M3 nuts. Additionally, five M4-35mm bolts, one M4-30mm bolt are required. G-Code generation was done using "slic3r 0.9.3" with specific parameters: layer height at 0.25mm, 100% infill, print speed of 25mm/s, small perimeters at 15mm/s, external perimeters at 80%, infill speed at 45mm/s, solid infill speed at 45mm/s, top solid infill speed at 20mm/s, bridge speed at 45mm/s, support material overhang threshold of 10 degrees, rectilinear pattern, pattern spacing of 2.5mm, and a pattern angle of 90 degrees.
