Orca 0.3 X-Axis Opto Mount
thingiverse
Introducing my design for a robust, reliable mount specifically tailored for the X-axis opto on an Orca 0.3 printer equipped with standard opto-sensor. This innovative solution outperforms the official cable tie approach by employing an M4 bolt that ensures a stable attachment to the M8 rod, preventing any unwanted left or right movement. To implement, simply print the part, slide it over the M8 threaded rod and secure it using an M4x30 bolt along with a nylock. Fasten the opto-sensor in place by utilizing the 3mm holes on the sensor with M3x25 bolts, nuts, and nylocks. Remember to straighten the opto-flag if you have previously adjusted it for the cable tie method.
