Orca 0.2 'Automated' Heated Printbed Switch
thingiverse
The original Gen6 electronics cannot turn off the print bed heating post printing. However, this upgrade permits the printer to do so automatically. To install, follow these steps: first, print the switch casing; second, insert two nuts into nut traps inside the casing; third, attach two wires to your snap-in rocker switch (make sure it can handle at least 5A); fourth, pull the wires through the hole in the back of the casing; fifth, snap the switch in with "0" pointing down; sixth, affix the casing to the top right z-smooth bar; seventh, adjust position for x-carriage reach; eighth, add G1 X195 F7000.0 (replace 195 with max x position) to end-g-code; lastly, connect wires between power supply and print bed heater. Suggestions are welcome.
