Whispers began to circulate among the people of our world, hinting at the presence of hidden treasures, potent artifacts, and fantastical wonders within these forsaken places. Those driven by ambition and greed have decided to venture into these cursed lands in search of glory and riches. Organized into small groups, they brave the dangers that lie within, seeking to claim their prizes. This is the premise of Scavengers, a skirmish game set in the devastated world beyond our own, where players take on the role of adventurers, seeking fame and fortune. Extracted from the Alabar Chronicle's Scavenger Guide to Our World: Introduction Scavengers is a tabletop miniature war game designed for small-scale combat with fantasy and steampunk figures. Two players engage in a fight, each commanding five to ten miniatures on their side, including a hero and their loyal henchmen. The game is easy to learn but requires time and experience to master. The game was built around three core principles: a) Players can either download the 3D models provided or use miniatures from any collection, giving the game flexibility and freedom from manufacturer-specific rules. However, those who wish to contribute to the game's development are encouraged to download the free models. b) The focus of Scavengers lies in the miniatures on the table, with the goal of creating an immersive experience centered around these tiny warriors and their stories. c) A rich background is essential to the game.
