Orbit Tippe Top
thingiverse
A Unique Tippe Top Design. You might be able to purchase these as "Dieters 81501 Orbit Spinning Topp." They are manufactured by Dieters, a German company. The second photo showcases the Dieters version. I created these to be 3D printed in two halves. For the best outcome use two colors of filament and switch at z=3 mm. When spun, these should flip so that the ball is on top. These are harder to spin than a standard Tippe Top due to their shape. I recommend printing with 100% infill so that the top has maximum weight. I include the OpenSCAD program in case you want to modify the design parameters. I have not experimented with the ball size and disk size and thickness. This was the first version I printed and it works successfully.
