Model rocket parts from Estes are now designed with metric measurements, ensuring seamless integration in most slicer software. These components originate from the Estes 'bulk' pack available at: https://www.estesrockets.com/001706-orbistm-3d-bulk-pack-12-pack. To build a complete rocket, you will require: * A nose cone specifically designed for use with a BT-20 body tube. * A nose cone 'pin', or cap, to secure the nose cone in place. * A fin unit that complements your rocket design. * A launch lug ring for added stability during flight. * A standard engine mount ring for secure engine attachment. * A 9" BT-20 tube, which can be obtained from a single 18" tube, allowing you to build two rockets simultaneously. * An engine retaining hook, often created using thick paper clips for added durability. For the recovery system, consider utilizing a streamer measuring 1" wide by 2 feet long. A Mylar gift wrap provides an excellent alternative, offering both lightness and ease of retrieval. Recommended motors for initial flights include the A8-3 and B6-4 models.
