The right z brace of my Spiny Orb Weaver cantilever printer project was hastily assembled using thingirob and a customized NEMA 17 mount from CodeMangler in FreeCad. I am well aware that there are far superior methods to accomplish this task, but my current CAD skills are woefully inadequate and I required the part immediately. Feel free to modify it to suit your specific needs. Print Settings Printer: Tevo Tarantula Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: I printed it with MakerGeek's PETG at 245 °C, accompanied by a 90 °C bed temperature and a print speed of 25mm/sec. PLA could probably have been used as well, but I opted for the extra strength that PETG provides. A lower infill ratio would likely suffice, but I prefer structural redundancy in my designs.
