This is a plastic orangutan that sits quietly on my office shelf, waiting to be transformed into a 3D model using Qlone technology paired with an iPhone XR and a custom-made laser printed mat. The orangutan was carefully positioned on top of the mat before being scanned as a hands-on exercise for students enrolled in the fall 2020 Digital Archaeology course.
