OrangePi Plus 2e Case
thingiverse
I've been unable to locate any reliable sources for the OrangePi Plus2E board's I/O and dimensions. As a result, I'll be designing a custom case by manually measuring and mapping out its layout. The design will incorporate bluebomber's Star Wars Pattern Fan Guard as the fan guard. The case should easily snap into place without requiring screws. However, for added security, it's recommended to use both top and bottom screws. The necessary screws include: * M2.5 x 10 or M3 x 10 for the 40mm x 10mm fan mount, which can also be glued in place. * M2.5 x 16 screws to secure the top and bottom case. Given that PLA cases may not provide sufficient cooling, I strongly recommend using active fan cooling and an aluminum heat-sink. The H3 chip can reach temperatures of up to 80 degrees Celsius with a heat-sink during heavy loads. If you decide against active fan cooling, it's advisable to print the case with ABS, ASA, or PETG materials for better thermal performance.
