An Orange pi PC case features an ingenious button designed to be effortlessly printed with TPE. Future Developments Are Coming. In the works: A compact box that will seamlessly integrate without adding any new buttons is being conceptualized. Meanwhile, a button that can be accurately paired with ABS materials is currently in the designing process. Additionally, multiple box designs tailored for specific uses are underway. Repairing Issues Some colleagues and I have encountered a problem where the orangePi case refused to close properly at times. We discovered this was due to the positioning of the double USB port on the left side of the enclosure. Given that this case is designed as a tight fit for the Pi, we failed to consider the possibility that the port could be in an awkward spot on certain models. Regardless, I have made a small adjustment to the cover near where the port is located. To fix the issue with existing prints and cases, I recommend removing about 1mm of plastic from where the port is situated. Alternatively, simply printing a new cover will resolve the problem completely. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: Unnecessary, so they can be skipped Supports: Enabled for added stability Infill Percentage: Set at 30% Notes: A minute, 0.5mm engraving is present on the case to mark some input holes. Printing at reduced speeds will minimize vibrations and ringing effects, but the only truly necessary support would be that situated above the MicroSD hole. Other supports can be omitted if desired.
