For me, the 3D printer is just another tool like a screwdriver or Dremel. And what a fascinating project it makes! Over the past few months with my Sunhokey Prusa i4, countless things have been done. This post aims to summarize all the changes and improvements made. What's been done: * A second Y-axis rail inspired by pindemand: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1832499 * Active cooling for control board and chassis: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2423258 * A circular fan duct with a BLTouch sensor mount and additional lighting: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2495004 * Anti-backlash nuts integrated inside X-axis holders: the holder block was drilled out to 12mm from the bottom and 14mm from the top * Additional print area lighting: as the printer is installed in a built-in cupboard, this is necessary * A Z-axis screw rods stabilizer * Bed auto leveling with a clone of the BLTouch sensor * The control panel moved down since the printer is placed high enough: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2671526 * Print head cable chain: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2422058 * Octoprint server running on an OrangePI Lite PC integrated inside the chassis, allowing for remote control and even compiling and uploading printer firmware * An Octoprint-controlled power relay that allows powering on/off all printer hardware while leaving the active OrangePI PC only * A default power switch replaced with a 3-state switch (always on / off / controlled by Octoprint) and moved to the front panel * An Octoprint-connected web camera installed in the cupboard for remote control and time-lapse * A filament runout sensor The latest version of Marlin firmware, customized for BLTouch clone, can be found here: http://aeinc.ru/i4/ BLTouch sensor clone used: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1set-BLTouch-Auto-Bed-Leveling-Touch-Sensor-BLTouch-Classic-BLTouch-C-with-cables-Spare-parts-for/32787946802.html
