I built a Quick and Dirty HDD Case for My Orange Pi Zero Plus H5 Module SBC. It worked flawlessly with my cheap Chinese USB-to-SATA Adapter. I removed the USB connector and soldered the wires directly to the USB pins. To ensure power supply to the hard drive, make sure to use thick enough wire gauge. Don't skimp on this step! I used a 5.5mm power jack connector to connect the power cables to the boards safely. For closure and to hold the Orange Pi firmly in place, I employed metallic inserts.
