This is a fanless case for the Orange Pi 5 single board computer. The case consists of two 3D-printed parts that screw together using four M3x30 SHCS screws and hex nuts. STL and STEP files are included here and the complete source code is available under the GPL 2.0 license at https://codeberg.org/combolek/cad/src/branch/main/orange-pi-5-case. The case was designed in CadQuery 2. I tried to make it so it's easy to modify if needed (e.g. for different tolerances), with many explicit parameters. #### Customization There are two main ways to customize the case if needed. One option is to edit the STEP files in your favorite CAD software as you would with any other design. The other (preferred) option is to edit the `orange-pi-5-case.py` script and re-run CadQuery. Probably the easiest way to do this is to use the pre-built CQ-Editor package: 1. You need a development build of CQ-Editor. Download the latest successful build for your platform from https://github.com/jmwright/CQ-editor/actions?query=workflow%3Abuild 2. Unpack it anywhere 3. Run the `CQ-editor` executable file from the `bin` directory 4. Load the `orange-pi-5-case.py` source file from the `File->Open` menu (or click the "open folder" button) 5. Make any desired changes in the editor pane. There are comments in the file to mark the code for each feature. 6. Re-play the script from `Run->Render` menu (or click the triangle "play" button). This can take 10-15 seconds or so. 7. Updated STEP and STL files should be written to the same directory as the source script.
