Hey there! I recently decided to customize my no-name amp cabinet, matching it as closely as possible with my Orange head. To achieve this, I attempted to print the logo they use on their cabinets. This entire project was accomplished using Tinkercad, which presented a challenging yet rewarding experience that taught me how to transform any picture into a 3D model for use in future projects. To simulate a dual extrusion printer, I utilized the "variable settings wizard" in Simplify3D. The white base of the logo stands at 2mm tall, while the drawing portion is only 1mm high. The photographs uploaded are from my initial version, which featured a taller drawing part measuring approximately 3mm. However, I highly recommend keeping it as low as possible. Modifying the design in Tinkercad should be relatively easy. Below are my print settings: Base (white): - Resolution: 0.2 - Infill: 25% - Top layers: 3 - Bottom layers: 2 - Perimeter layers: 1 Graphics (black): - Resolution: 0.15 - Infill: 100%
