From King (1987, 302) A mysterious chest? circa 1690. Four fragments of an ancient table tomb lie scattered throughout Staholmock graveyard's older section, while a fifth is proudly displayed on the modern cemetery's north wall. This latter piece showcases a male figure, stark naked except for a loin cloth, standing in the 'orans' position (Roe 1970, 213; Ní Shúilliobháin 1970, 222). Three other fragments reveal the remains of a panel boasting an elaborate achievement of arms, likely featuring the impaling of Fleming and Cross or Chetwode coats. The last piece is a support for a table tomb, likely holding it in place. Dimensions: Height 2 feet; Width 2.17 feet.
