Oral-B Travel Cover (Cap)
thingiverse
I liked the design of kirkdis for a travel cover. But it didn't fit well and I thought it was too clunky and not perfectly round. So I decided to redesign the part based on the original idea. Changes compared to the original design: - The top is open, so it's easier to clean if needed. - The bottom hole is slightly tapered, so the cover/cap will fit tight while it's still easy to put on. - The bottom and top holes are lofted, so it's easier to print standing upright without supports. - The outside of the cover/cap is slimmer and tapered for a smaller overall size. Printing: - Print the part upright (with the biggest hole facing down). - Use a brim to let it stick better to the bed if needed. - If the part is too small to fit (if printed with uncalibrated extruder), just scale the part up slightly in the slicer.
