This project aims to develop a blueprint for constructing a micro-scale Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) power generator, utilizing low-temperature heat sources. The ORC principle enables conversion of energy from these sources into usable power. To facilitate ease of assembly, common workshop tools will suffice, while an online 3D printing service can provide specialized components as needed. Key specifications include a maximum heat source water temperature of 95°C, a condensing temperature of 28°C, working fluid R134a (with potential future use of Solkatherm ES36), a mass flow of 4,621 g/s depending on efficiency, an evaporator heat capacity of 1 kWatt, and a turbine power output of 65 Watts.
