ORACLE RUNE STONES Use traditional oracle rune stones for forecasting the future or as decorative items. Each set contains all 25 stones, and different sets are available to suit your personal taste. Print the runes, paint them if you want to (using granite effect spray paint, for example), and use a syringe to fill paint into the engravings. WHAT ARE RUNES? The runic alphabet is traditionally known as Futhark, named after its first six letters. Casting runes has been used as a form of divination in Europe since the fourth century. The elder Futhark contains 24 runes. The original meaning of the word rune is "secret" or something hidden". Some indications show that early runes were not used for writing but rather as magical signs, which means they were used in magic and for divination (but there's no direct evidence). They probably originated from the Tarot and the Chinese Book of Changes and were used as the I Ching by the Vikings at that time. The wisdom of rune-masters died with them, leaving only sagas, scattered fragments of runic history, and the runes themselves. HOW TO: - Place a set (25 stones) in a velvet pouch (available on Amazon or Ebay). - Ask a question while shaking the pouch. - Then grab one or more runes out of it.
