As I'm upgrading my ORAC lathe, one function I want to experiment with is precision spindle control. This timing pulley fits on the spindle, inside the headstock. It connects to the stepper pulley via a 320-2GT timing belt. The stepper is mounted inside the headstock with my ORAC Spindle Stepper Mount. This pulley can also hold a few tiny magnets and along with my ORAC Hall Effect Sensor Mount you set up for a cheap digital tachometer.
