This is an adapter to connect a 3M Speedglas G5-01 PAPR welding helmet to an Optrel e3000x PAPR belt fan/filter unit. To attach the adapter to the 3m helmet, insert the helmet hose and then put some 1/8" filament into the holes. Trim flush and melt the ends with a soldering iron.
