Optimized G-clamp
cults3d
A fully functional weight-optimized G-clamp, meticulously simulated and modeled in Fusion 360. To achieve maximum strength, print the clamp flat on its side. Print the screw upright with the ball facing upwards and the pad positioned on its flat/square patterned surface. For optimal results, use supports for both the clamp and the screw. If possible, remove any support material that may interfere with the threads in your slicer. The parts are designed as solid models, utilizing a weight-optimized shape as a reference point. An alternative organic shape is also available; however, it requires manual addition of the thread in your slicer. Printing this design can be more challenging, so we recommend printing it upright with supports.
