The original bracket mounting for the 5015 + BLTouch severely restricts measurement of a broad area on the bed, prompting me to design this alternative mounting system. Compared to the standard one, it boasts a significant reduction in X gap size while introducing a modest increase in Y dimension. From Offset X: (-/+) 58.6 mm is reduced to (+/-) -27.0 mm From Offset Y: (-/+) -11.0 mm is reduced to (+/-) -24.0 mm This design also addresses some compatibility issues with Z reinforcing rod brackets in the upper Z position, a problem I encountered myself. It's compatible with both 30x30 and 40x40 fans. This mounting system was inspired by the excellent CR-10 Heavy Duty customizable modular e3D V6 mount on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2494642).
