Optimize design for Dual Extruders including IR sensor - In Progress
thingiverse
This is a "work in progress" design for optimal dual extruders (close hotends) layout that includes adjustable hotend height. The adjustable height mechanism, previously published here, works perfectly on my Max Micron printer. With this design, I aimed to minimize the distance between the hotends and achieve better printing quality with easy calibration. I added an IR height sensor from David Crocker for auto-leveling with adjustable height (miscsolutions.wordpress.com/mini-height-sensor-board). The design is based on E3D J-type extrudes (www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL-1cvyl47A). Any comments are welcome.
